Expertise
Product strategy, customer experience and digital transformation expertise.
I help financial-services organisations, fintechs and complex digital businesses turn complicated products into clearer customer experiences and stronger product decisions. My work sits where product strategy, customer experience and digital transformation overlap — the space where customer needs, regulation, technology, legacy systems and commercial objectives collide.
Good product strategy is not a deck or a roadmap on its own. It is the judgement to decide what should change, why it matters, and what the organisation can actually support. I work with product, design, technology and business leaders to separate launch-critical foundations from future ambition, connect customer-experience decisions to measurable business outcomes, and make sure the work beneath the interface — systems, journeys, operations and organisational readiness — is understood before any screen is designed.
Customer experience, in regulated environments especially, is a service-design problem before it is an interface problem. I map the service end to end — customer actions, frontstage channels, backstage systems, teams and handoffs — so that complexity is exposed and resolved before it becomes customer friction. The result is experiences that are accurate, trustworthy and defensible, not just usable.
Digital transformation succeeds when it is treated as organisational change, not feature delivery. Across vehicle finance, cards and payments, mobile banking and multi-business-unit mobile ecosystems, I have helped teams align around customer needs, business value and launch readiness — building the shared context, principles and operating rhythms that let many teams ship one coherent experience. The expertise below summarises where I contribute most.
What I do
Product strategy
Helping programmes separate launch-critical foundations from future ambition, connect experience decisions to measurable outcomes, and decide what should change, why it matters and what the organisation can support.
Customer experience strategy
Shaping end-to-end customer experiences across regulated journeys, legacy systems and multiple channels — so the experience is accurate, trustworthy and defensible, not just usable.
Service design in regulated environments
Mapping services end to end — customer actions, frontstage channels, backstage systems, teams and handoffs — to expose complexity before it becomes customer friction in financial services.
Digital transformation
Treating transformation as organisational change rather than feature delivery: aligning customer needs, systems, business rules and operating models so digital products work end to end.
Launch readiness
Coordinating product, technology, legal, content, marketing, operations and business-unit readiness so a launch is customer-ready, not just feature-ready.
Product leadership
Holding context across product, design, technology and business teams — surfacing inconsistencies, challenging gaps and protecting the coherence of the customer experience across many contributors.
